Monday is the day, The 21- RIP plan starts......First off, I am ready to start eating again!!, but giving up the brews is going to be the toughest part. Sad, yes..... As I walk down the road to a better, new and improved me, there is nothing, Nothing standing in my way, but me. I have to do this for myself. No one else. It will tough, I will bleed, I will be sore, but I will emerge a new and improved me. I am giddy with excitement to see the end result.

35 Days and Counting..
For those of you that recognize Lent, you will get this, for those of you don't you may or you may not. For the last 35 days I've been fasting, not the typical soda give up for lent, or alcohol or whatever you've chosen to do with out for 40 days. I chose to give up solid food all day everyday till Easter Sunday. As a young adult who is focused on health, you may say that this a bad decision. How is he getting through this? Well its been tough, but worth it. I followed the guidelines of my church(CROSSROADS) and it does make you hunger for God, with the right mind set that is. When you get hungry, you think,"GOD I WANT FOOD!!!", but then the second though swings in, and it is God, reminding you of why you are doing this. For him, his son. Then the hunger isn't nearly that bad, but for a young adult who works out and has to maintain a level of caloric intake, its really tough, and its showing its head in the gym. My body has started to creep into starvation mode, where it's starting to burn muscle and retain fat, For all you "starvers"out there, THIS IS WHAT YOUR DOING TO YOUR BODY!!!!!. ITS HEALTHY TO EAT, IF YOU EAT HEALTHY!!! You think your getting skinny by not eating, by actually your doing the exact opposite.
My point to this ramble, is that the road to success is paved through hard work, determination and personal sacrifice.
Motivation....Where is it?
What's your motivation? What's my motivation? Call it nostalgia, call it reliving my glory days, I don't want to be out of shape at 30, going on forty and fighting an uphill battle with my health. I want be around for all the good moments in my life. Kids, games, growing old with my lovely wife. Enjoying life with out Mouth-breathing my way through it.

I've always been involved in sports...... in high-school ...now I am 30 and its not coming off as easy as it used to. So why take this challenge?
- To change my life.......................Yes, but for my future. Start the next 30 years off on the right foot
